Cosmic Discourse

This piece was inspired by the realization that true wisdom is not found by looking away from the universe, but by understanding our position within it. It captures a moment of cosmic discourse—a silent teaching where the universe reveals its own structure to the seeker. The figure holds a galaxy, symbolizing that the ultimate nature of reality—order, connection, and creation—is accessible and understandable. It represents the internal dialogue where personal experience is unified with universal law. The artist aimed to make the cosmic accessible and the physical transcendental.

The figure in meditation is grounded consciousness. The raised hand in the Vitarka mudra (gesture of discussion/teaching) signifies intellectual inquiry and the transmission of clarity. The glowing spiral galaxy being actively 'presented' or generated from the other palm symbolizes that ultimate truth is dynamic, creative, and integrated into existence. The galaxy represents cosmic intelligence and order. The background of deep blue space and soft clouds symbolizes the transition from physical limits to infinite awareness, where the teaching takes place. It’s the realization that one 'is' the universe understanding itself.
