Ancient Presence

This artwork imagines a stone figure carved into a mountain and gradually reclaimed by the forest over generations. Vines enter the surrounding rock, moss settles across the surface, and the boundary between monument and landscape becomes increasingly difficult to locate.

Rather than presenting this transformation as decay, the composition treats it as completion. The figure has not resisted the environment; it has become part of a larger living system.
